We believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature. That’s why we’ve designed our platform to protect your personal information, respect your identity, and give you full control. We do not track you across the internet, and we never sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or profiling.

When you leave, your data is permanently deleted — no questions asked.

Collaboration with Palmallorca.com – Data Sharing & Community Access

For full transparency: Mallorca Homebase collaborates closely with Palmallorca.com, operated by Palmallorca Media Group S.L., a separate but aligned company also based in Mallorca.

As part of this collaboration:

  • Members of Mallorca Homebase may gain access to selected BuddyBoss groups, blog posts, community discussions, and member benefits hosted on Palmallorca.com
  • Co-owners of Homes in Mallorca may receive a community profile on Palmallorca.com as part of their ownership experience
  • We may share relevant data (e.g. your name, email, language, and group participation) with Palmallorca.comstrictly for the purpose of enabling your access to these shared services and communities

All shared data:

  • Remains stored exclusively on EU-based infrastructure

  • Is never used for advertising or sold to third parties

  • Is shared only on the legal basis of legitimate interest or your explicit consent, depending on context

  • Can be reviewed, restricted, or deleted upon request

We view Palmallorca.com not as a third party, but as a complementary part of your ownership and community experience. This integration is part of delivering on our promise: a home + community model built with privacy and trust at its core.

What We Collect – and Why

We only collect the data you actively provide:

  • Name, email, phone number, nationality, residence

  • Preferences (languages, interests, ownership goals)

  • Booking inquiries, co-ownership forms, and investor intent

  • Uploaded documents (e.g. ID/passport for KYC or legal use)

  • E-commerce transactions (deposits, payments, invoices)

  • Platform activity (profile setup, group membership)

We do not use:

  • Behavioral tracking

  • Advertising cookies

  • Third-party profiling or analytics tools

We use your data only to:

  • Match you with relevant properties and co-ownership opportunities

  • Process transactions, reservations, and shareholder documentation

  • Create S.L. companies and register your ownership shares

  • Enable access to exclusive groups and community benefits

E-Commerce, Co-Ownership & Legal Compliance

Mallorca Homebase operates a secure e-commerce and ownership platform, where:

  • You may reserve or purchase property shares

  • Deposits and balances are processed via WooCommerce

  • Legal documentation is handled in coordination with licensed partners

  • Spanish S.L. companies are created for each co-owned property

  • Your shareholder status and rights are digitally recorded

All relevant data is handled with confidentiality and stored within the EU.

Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies to:

  • Manage secure logins and sessions

  • Store your language and region preferences

  • Give you access to private dashboards and investor areas

We do not use:

  • Advertising cookies

  • Cross-site tracking

  • Third-party analytics

AI Matching – Private, Ethical, Internal

We use an internal AI system, hosted securely within the EU, to:

  • Help match your inputs to properties and groups

This AI does not learn from your behavior outside the platform and is not used to serve ads. Your data is never shared with any external AI systems or used for training third-party models.

Groups, Roles & Verification

Your platform access may include:

  • Private investor and co-owner groups

  • Booking systems, rotation calendars, and dashboards

  • Access to group-specific benefits on Palmallorca.com

Some areas may require identity verification for access, especially:

  • Co-ownership and legal groups

  • High-sensitivity or regulatory groups (e.g. intimacy, healthcare)

  • Moderation or vendor roles

Secure Messaging

Our messaging system includes:

  • End-to-end encryption

  • Direct messaging between members and agents

  • Group or booking-related communication

No one — including our staff — can read or analyze your messages.

Community Conduct

We enforce clear standards for respectful interaction. We do not allow:

  • Harassment or hate speech

  • Discrimination based on gender, lifestyle, beliefs

  • Misuse of the platform for spam, fraud, or abuse

Offending content can be flagged by users or moderators and may result in suspension or removal.

You have the right to:

  • Access or correct your data

  • Delete your profile and all stored information

  • Limit or object to how your data is used

  • Withdraw your consent at any time

  • Request a portable copy of your data

  • File a complaint with a data protection authority

Reserve and Buy Your Share with Confidence

1. Find Your Property

Choose the co-owned home that best fits your lifestyle and needs.

2. Review the Documents and FAQ

Understand how co-ownership works by reading our legal documentation and the Frequently Asked Questions. Everything is written to be clear, transparent, and easy to follow.

3. Request More Information or Book a Viewing

Still have questions? You’re welcome to contact us, request additional information, or book a videocall with our team.

You can also join a virtual group viewing at specific times or request a physical visit to the property if available.

4. Reserve Your Week(s) (Free and Non-Binding)

You can reserve 1 to 12 weeks at no cost.

To confirm your reservation, simply upload valid ID to verify your identity (fully GDPR-compliant — your data is never shared).

Reservations are first come, first served, and give you priority right to buy when the home is ready for closing.

5. Buy — Pay 10% Deposit Within 7 Days

Once all 12 shares (weeks) are reserved, we’ll send you a formal purchase offer.

To confirm your share, you must transfer 10% of the total share price to a third-party law firm’s escrow account within 7 days.

Once paid, the purchase is binding.

If you later choose not to complete the purchase, your deposit will be forfeited as the company will proceed with acquiring the property.

However, if the closing is not finalized for any reason, your full deposit will be refunded immediately.

6. Join the Owner Community at Closing

Once the transaction is complete, you’ll gain access to a private online owner group, where you’ll find:

  • All key documents

  • The updated cap table and owner list

  • Direct access to the administrator of the S.L. company

    This ensures full transparency, communication, and collaboration with your fellow co-owners.
